BlueFire now offers text message giving which greatly speeds and streamlines the giving experience for donors who are interested. It is completely secure and works with your existing merchant account. There is a $10/month fee for the use of this service.
Here’s how it works:
- You’ll reserve your very own phone number to use with BlueFire text giving. We have a search tool that will let you find the perfect number to use with your organization. (Search Tips)
- Once you have a phone number you can instruct your donors to give by texting any dollar amount to your phone number:
“Give by text! Text any dollar amount to (555) 555-5555 to give!” - If it is the donor’s first time giving by text they will be asked to fill out a short one-time sign-up where they enter their payment information. Their gift will be immediately processed if they choose to do so.
